Hats and Mittens
Each winter, Child Start collects one set of hats and mittens for each of the 1020 children in need who attend our Head Start 0 – 5 Program. Our goal is to wrap up donations by December 18 so that we can distribute hats and mittens to children before winter break.

The Dollar per Child Fund
In addition to one set of hats and mittens per child, we are also collecting one dollar per child for contribution to the “dollar per child” campaign of the National Head Start Association (NHSA). The proceeds support NHSA’s advocacy activities and give a voice to underprivileged children.
